This past Saturday saw the season opener of the Mad Rollin' Dolls season. Over 1000 people of all shapes and sizes packed into Fast Forward roller rink many of whom held signs for their favorite players and teams.

After the first matches, there was a renaissance style, gladiator battle of the Knights of the Blue Rose. By this time, the only beer that was left was Rolling Rock, and in cans nonetheless.

Due to the excessive crowd, which generated a lot of heat, and our desire to get out before the crowd, we left shortly after, missing the second halves of the match ups. The first match saw the Reservoir Dolls matched up against the Quad Squad. The Reservoir Dolls edged out the win. The second match was between the Vaudeville Vixens and the Unholy Rollers. The Vixens securely won the second match.
